Properties :

• white mercerized scaly or needle crystal, a slight odor of benzoin or benzaldehyde,sublimation at about 100^oC relative density1.316, boiling point 249.2^oC, melting point 121.7^oC.
• Insoluble in water(0.34g/100ml, 25^oC),soluble in boiling water (4.55g/100ml, 90^oC), ethanol, chloroform and ether as well as non-volatile oil and volatile oil.
• Industrial grade - White silky flakes or needle-shaped crystals.
• Medical & Food grade - White crystalline powder.
• It is benzin or benzoic aldehyde savor, soluble in ethanol and slightly soluble in water.
